I am a Canadian representational painter choosing to create in the fine art medium of soft pastel. I work from my studio in North Augusta, Ontario, surrounded by quiet nature. My subjects vary from flowers, seashells, still life, landscapes, interiors.

My process involves applying soft pastel to archival paper or prepared board. I usually have my work professionally framed  with museum glass for maximum clarity and to prevent any smudging of the pastel. 

 

For lovers of art history, I offer a few treasured original copies in the style of masters. Some are executed in oil, others with soft pastel. However, I am very reluctant to part from them!
