Artist Statement
My inspiration for this pastel painting came one late evening, while a passenger in our car. I was open to nocturne ideas and all of a sudden this car zoomed ahead, braked, and the red highlights lluminating the road and inside our car. What a sight! I captured one winning photo as my reference.
This is a stunning scene from the interior of a car!
